Electric Sons Brawler

Here's an update on the brawler I'm making with some friends. Having a lot of fun designing modular elements that we can place anywhere. First pic is my initial test without final touches(need to add shadows), second pic is my prop sheet that I grab from, it's going to get much, much bigger! I can't wait to get some of the smaller details animated like spinning fans, smoke, dripping, not to mention parallaxing and the background sky moving.

More sketchings

Not sure where these came from, I was just messing around in photoshop and these Scottish inspired characters came out. More to come soon!

Strange Girl?

Found a photo online and it inspired me to paint! It started off as a study and wound up being a little character.

Illustrations

Some personal pieces to get myself painting after work. Need to do more!

Was playing with brushes in addition to being super excited about Destiny and this came out.

Fan art concept for The Order 1886. If you haven't seen the concept art for that game look it up! It's really inspiring.

Sci-fi Sketches

Some fun sketches inspired by Mass Effect. I'm trying to get more familiar with Sci-fi form language. Lately I've been enjoying sculpting in Zbrush before I paint to get a feel for the faces and anatomy.

Initially inspired by the Batarians, kinda went crazy with it and made them more spider-like.

Its really hard to redesign something I liked so much, loved the turians.

Experimenting with more styles and techniques.

Electric Sons Brawler

My brother and I are making a 2d brawler in unity with the help of a few friends. Stay tuned for more!

Some initial sketches of the playable characters.

Some Rocker-esque character sketches.

One of the basic drone enemy attacks.

Some initial prop exploration.

I did a sketch for the background a while back, my brother added a UI and we threw the characters in there just to start seeing everything together. I'm going to be doing some really huge backgrounds for the game soon so its nice to have a base to work from.
